Top 10 Pakistan’s Richest  Businessmen Revealed

ISLAMABAD – The latest ranking of Pakistan’s richest business figures hasbeen released, with Bestway Group founder Sir Anwar Pervez securing the topspot, according to a report published Friday by the Economic Policy andBusiness Development think tank, cited by 24NewsHD TV.

The report reveals that the country’s leading corporate groups collectivelyhold multi-billion-dollar investments, with Bestway Group alone valued at$3.62 billion.

In second place is the Fauji Foundation, boasting investments of $2.25billion, followed by the Tabeer Group at $1.88 billion. Pakistan TobaccoCompany ranks fourth with $1.18 billion, while Mir Shakilur Rahman’sIbrahim Group claims fifth with $1 billion.

The Aga Khan Group stands sixth with $954 million, and veteran businessmagnate Mian Mansha follows closely with $920 million. Meanwhile, SyedBabar Ali’s Packages Group, valued at $1.6 billion, remains a key playeramong the nation’s wealthiest corporate entities.

Other prominent billionaires in the list include Fawad Mukhtar (FatimaGroup), Gohar Ejaz (Lake City Holdings – $2.5 billion), Sardar Yasin Malik,Habibullah Khan, Sheikh Muhammad Javed, Aqeel Karim Dhedhi, Bashir JanMuhammad, Mian Aamir Mehmood, Nasreen Kasuri, Jahangir Tareen, and AleemKhan.

The think tank also highlights valuations for several influential businessgroups: Dawood Group ($2.39 billion), Meezan Group ($2.38 billion), ArifHabib Group ($1.57 billion), Attock Group ($1.35 billion), Sapphire Group($1.2 billion), and House of Habib ($1.17 billion).

According to the findings, Pakistan currently has 40 billionaire businessfamilies, with 35 of them emerging in the last five decades. Despiteevolving market trends, legacy names such as Syed Babar Ali, Habib Rafiq,Hussain Dawood, and the Tariq Saigol Group continue to dominate thecountry’s billionaire elite.

The report also features the ranking of Pakistan’s 20 largest publiclylisted companies, further underscoring the dominance of these corporategiants in shaping the nation’s economy.
