Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps Lead Flood Relief Operations in Swat and Bajaur

Swat/Bajaur, Pakistan – August 15, 2025: The Pakistan Army, in coordination with the Frontier Corps Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (FC KP), continues to lead extensive flood relief operations in the Swat and Bajaur districts, as severe monsoon rains have inundated multiple areas, leaving residents stranded and in urgent need of assistance.

The relief efforts are being coordinated under the supervision of IGFC North, with helicopters actively engaged in airlifting essential supplies, including food, water, and medical aid, to the affected communities. Helicopter teams are also assisting in the evacuation of residents from flood-hit areas to designated safe shelters.

Military spokespersons confirmed that ground and aerial teams are working around the clock to ensure that all affected individuals are rescued and provided with necessary relief materials.

“Our priority is the safety and well-being of all residents. Evacuation and relief operations will continue until every affected person is safely relocated,” said an official statement from FC KP.

Local authorities have urged residents in vulnerable areas to follow evacuation orders and cooperate with relief teams. The Pakistan Army and FC KP have also set up temporary relief centers to provide shelter, food, and medical assistance to those displaced by the floods.

These ongoing efforts highlight the swift and coordinated response of Pakistan’s security forces in times of natural disasters, ensuring that affected populations receive immediate relief and support.
