KP Government Chopper Crashes Amid Rescue Mission, Three Officials Martyred

A Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government helicopter engaged in relief operations in flood-affected areas has crashed, resulting in the martyrdom of three people.

According to Dawn News, the provincial government’s helicopter was participating in rescue operations for flood victims when it crashed on the Sukai hills of Pandyali in Mohmand district, killing three people on board.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had earlier directed that helicopters be provided to assist in responding to the flood situation caused by cloudbursts across several districts.

The chief minister had instructed that all available resources be utilized in rescue and relief operations, with the Commissioner of Malakand and Deputy Commissioner of Bajaur personally supervising the efforts. He also directed all district administrations, particularly in Dir and Swat, to remain on high alert.
