The prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi held a cabinet meeting today in Islamabad where he was briefed on the issuance of arms licences. It was agreed to form a committee, under the PM, on the issue, comprising the interior minister, information minister and CAD minister. The committee will submit its report to the premier in the next cabinet session.
