LONDON – British Kashmiris men, women and children have assembled atVictoria Square in front of Lord Mayor`s office in Birmingham to join therally organised to pay tribute to all Kashmiri martyrs with specialreference to the brutality of the autocratic Dogra ruler on 13th of July1931.
Kashmiri representative, Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl, who is also Chairmanof South Asia Centre for Peace and Human Rights, reiterated that thesupreme sacrifices of the martyrs would be honored by completing the noblemission.
He said the remarks of UN Secretary General echoing UN high commissioner’sreport and calling it the voice of UN is a slap in Indian brutal face.
Meanwhile, Stewart Richards, President of Anti-War Coalition, expressed hissolidarity and support to the self determination struggle of the people ofJammu and Kashmir.
Fahim Kiani, President of Tehreeki-e-Kashmir, UK, spoke about themilitarization of the occupied state which is the highest militarized areaof the world.
