DUBAI – Pakistani pop singer Ali Zafar, who makes his Pakistani film debutwith *Teefa In Trouble* on July 19, expressed his belief that truth wouldalways prevail when asked about the sexual harassment allegations levelledagainst him.

“Whenever there is trouble in your life … there’s a simple rule and fact.Believe in God and have faith. Believe that truth always prevails. When youare on the right side of the truth and when you are on the right side ofhistory, nothing can hurt you,” said Zafar to *Gulf News tabloid!*.

In April, singer Meesha Shafi accused the singer of sexually harassing her,and after her post on social media a few more women came forward withsimilar allegations.

Zafar was in Dubai along with his *Teefa In Trouble* co-star Maya Ali andwe took the pair out for brunch to Bombay Brasserie in Taj Dubai.

Zafar has acted, produced and written the dialogues for *Teefa In Trouble*.

“A film will have its own destination. This film is very special to me. Weare confident that it will be well-liked,” said Zafar.
