PESHAWAR – The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday apprehendedthe killer of Sikh community leader Charanjeet Singh.

As per the details, the CTD Peshawar carried out a raid in Budh Bair areaand detained a suspect identified as Sheharyar who was involved in thetarget killing of Sardar Charanjeet Singh, a Sikh community leader inPeshawar.

The accused had killed the human rights activist in broad daylight on May29.

The incident happened at Scheme Chowk, Budhbir area of Peshawar, when Singhwas sitting at his shop.
