Palestine Foreign Minister Dr Riyad Al Maliki on Friday expressed deepappreciation for Pakistan’s principled, steadfast, and unflinching supportto the state during a conversation with Foreign Minister Shah MahmoodQuereshi.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement, said Dr Maliki appreciatedPrime Minister Imran Khan’s clear and unambiguous position on the recentcrisis and thanked Pakistan for the consistent diplomatic support receivedto Palestine at regional and international fora.
FM Qureshi strongly condemned Israeli forces’ attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque andcontinued airstrikes on Gaza that have so far killed at least 122 innocentcivilians, including children.
The foreign minister reiterated Pakistan’s unequivocal support for therights of Palestinian people and their just struggle.

He briefed Dr Maliki on Pakistan’s efforts to sensitise the internationalcommunity on the serious situation and the violations of human rights andinternational law.
Recalling the recent telephonic call between PM Imran Khan and thePalestinian President, the foreign minister reassured Dr Maliki ofPakistan’s steadfast support to Palestinian people during these testingtimes.
