ISLAMABAD – The Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Hikmat Khalil Karzai has metwith Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf Chief Imran Khan in Islamabad.

He has said that the persona and ideology of the Chairman PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan can play an important role in improvingbilateral relations of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Hikmat Khalil Karzai made these remarks when he along with a delegation metthe Chairman PTI in Islamabad on Tuesday and discussed matters of bilateralinterests.

The Afghan deputy foreign minister also invited the Chairman PTI to visitAfghanistan.

Imran Khan warmly welcomed the members of the Afghan delegation andexpressed best wishes to the emerging cricket team of Afghanistan.

Separately, the Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, Yao Jing met the ViceChairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi in Islamabad.

In a wide range of discussions, both sides deliberated on bilateralrelations between Pakistan and China, and also focused on the matters ofmutual interest.

They also discussed in detail the dynamics of regional politics exclusivelyfocusing on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
