ISLAMABAD – NAB Chairman Javaid Iqbal has landed in trouble over the issueof $4.9 billion money laundering press release against the former PM NawazSharif.
Senate Standing Committee on Law and Justice on Tuesday summoned NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal tomorrow overallegations of money laundering in India on former prime minister NawazSharif.
Sources said that a meeting of Senate Standing Committee on Law and Justiceover NAB’s controversial statement will be held tomorrow with Committeechairman Chaudhry Ashraf in chair.
The committee will review point of order presented by Rana Hayat, who hadsubmitted Point or Order over the money laundering of Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif.
