*ISLAMABAD – Pakistan versus India match is always a must watch of anycricketing tournament and with World Cup 2019 approaching, skipper SarfrazAhmed has said his aim is to win World Cup crown and not just beating Indiaat the tournament.*
“As a captain I have to see the entire tournament, we would obviously wantto beat India but our focus would be on all the teams, and if we want towin the World Cup and perform well then we have to play against not justIndia but all other teams as well,” said Sarfraz, while talking to localmedia.
The skipper was of the view that the format of the upcoming World Cup 2019is such that a side would need to win at least six or seven matches to makeinto the semis. “One bad day can throw you out of the tournament, so theformat is not that easy and all teams would need to play with a lot ofconcentration,” he added.
Earlier, former Indian opening batsman Virender Sehwag said that the IndiaPakistan cricket match is ‘nothing less than a war’. “When India andPakistan play a match, it is nothing less than a war. We should win thewar, not lose it,” Sehwag said.
