*BANNU:* A remote-controlled bomb exploded near FC vehicle at a checkpostin Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to security sources, the security vehicle was targeted near theMir Ali checkpost in Bannu by a remote-controlled bomb, damaging thevehicle. Three injured personnel were later shiftedto Cantonment Military Hospital for treatment.

On April 6, police foiled a terror bid in Bannu by disposing of a bombweighing three kilogrammes.
