Pakistan FO strongly hits out against unsolicited advice of former US diplomat Zalmay Khalilzad

In response to the former US Special Representative on AfghanistanReconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad’s tweet, Pakistan Foreign Officecategorically said that Pakistan does not need anyone’s ‘unsolicitedadvice’.

Foreign Office on Wednesday dismissed the statement given by former U.S.Special Representative on Afghanistan Reconciliation, Zalmay Khalilzad inhis tweet a day ago.

The foreign office spokesperson said in a statement issued here onWednesday that Pakistan does not need lectures or unsolicited advice fromanyone on how to cope with the challenges faced today.

The foreign office spokesperson said as a resilient nation, they will comeout stronger from the present difficult situation.

Pertinent to mention here that the foreign office spokesperson’s statementcame in response to a series of tweets by Zalmay Khalilzad where hesuggested “steps” and said Pakistan faced a ‘triple crisis of political,economic, and security’.
