Lahore: The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab on Information,Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has stated that through the ‘Punjab Rozgar Scheme’Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government is providing businessopportunities to improve the economy of Province.
Dr Firdous Ashiq turned to twitter and wrote, “Under the Punjab EmploymentScheme, more than Rs 30 billion will be distributed to men, women andtransgender”.
She further added, “The Punjab Rozgar Scheme will help Prime Minister ImranKhan’s vision to create employment opportunities and curb unemployment”.
Earlier last week, the cheque distribution ceremony under the ‘PunjabRozgar Scheme’ was held at Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam on Friday in which loansworth Rs. 180 million were distributed to 400 people.

“Initially, checks worth Rs. 180 million were issued to 400 people,” added DrFirdous.
She further specified that under the scheme, easy loans of Rs. 1 lakh to 1crore are being given to the youth.
