*LAHORE – **Punjab home department imposed section 144 across the provinceover coronavirus spread.*
*The Punjab home department on Sunday announced to impose section 144 inthe province over the outbreak of novel coronavirus.*
According to the notification, Punjab Chief Secretary announced thatsection 144 had been imposed in the province after new cases of the novelvirus were reported in the country.
The section has been imposed for three weeks in the province to contain thespread of the infection. All educational institutions in the province willremain closed and the teaching staff will also not be permitted to enterschools, colleges and universities.
The provincial government has decided to keep parks, zoos and picnic pointsclosed for the public.
