ISLAMABAD – Former PM Nawaz Sharif lands in trouble over Mir Shakil UrRahman NAB case.

Over the Mir Shakeel ur Rahman case, the anti graft body NaB has decided toinclude former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in the investigation.

Sources on Sunday said the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decidedto interrogate Nawaz Sharif in land transaction case against Mir Shakeel urRahman.

Moreover Sources said, the NAB team will question Nawaz Sharif afterpreliminary investigation gets completed with Mir Shakeel ur Rahman.

It is pertinent to mention that Accountability court approved 12-dayphysical remand of Mir Shakeel ur Rahman in a case pertaining to illegalexemption on 54 plots in Lahore.

Furthermore Mir Shakeel ur Rahman produced before the court for thejudicial proceedings.

Earlier, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had arrested Mir Shakeel urRahman on the accusation of illegal exemption on 54 plots in Lahore duringNawaz Sharif’s tenure as ex-chief minister of Punjab.

The anti-graft watchdog’s spokesman said that Mir Shakeel ur Rahmandetained after failing to provide satisfactory answers to the questionsthat put to him.
