*ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan strongly condemned theChristchurch terrorist attack on Friday at a New Zealand mosque that left40 dead and 20 injured.*
The prime minister took his Twitter to express his regret over the incidentwhile offering prayers to the families of those affected and the onesparted.
“Shocked and strongly condemn the Christchurch, New Zealand, terroristattack on mosques. This reaffirms what we have always maintained: thatterrorism does not have a religion. Prayers go to the victims and theirfamilies,” PM Khan tweeted.
He blamed these increasing terror attacks on the current Islamophobiapost-9/11.

In another tweet, Pm imran Khan said, “I blame these increasing terrorattacks on the current Islamophobia post-9/11 where Islam & 1.3 bn Muslimshave collectively been blamed for any act of terror by a Muslim. This hasbeen done deliberately to also demonize legitimate Muslim politicalstruggles.”
