According to the police, the former intelligence officer was found hangingfrom the ceiling fan.
The deceased was deeply upset over the treatment meted out to him byNational Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigators probing a case againsthim.

In the letter dated March 15, Asad Munir gave details about the allegationslevelled against him and the way he was treated by the “incompetent NABofficers”.
In the note circulating on the social media and addressed to the ChiefJustice of Pakistan, he wrote that he was giving his life in the hope thatthe top judge of the country would bring positive changes in the systemwhere incompetent people are playing with the life and honor of citizen inthe name of accountability.
