DUBAI – A crew member of Emirates met with an unfortunate incident on aninternational airport when he fell down from the plane.
Emirates flight was due to depart Entebbe International Airport opened theemergency exit and fell off the plane, sustaining serous injuries.
The crew member was immediately taken to the hospital for life-threateninginjuries.
The exact cause of the incident is not yet clear and investigations are on.
Emirates spokesperson said,
“We can confirm that a member of our cabin crew unfortunately fell off froman open door while preparing the aircraft for boarding on flight EK729 fromEntebbe on 14 March.
The injured crew member was brought to the nearest hospital. We areproviding all possible support and care for the affected crew, and willextend our full co-operation to the authorities in their investigation.”
