South African Coach Mark Boucher breaks silence over upcoming tour of Pakistan

South Africa coach Mark Boucher has faith in the security measures Pakistanhas put in place for their Test and T20 International tour of the country.

In an interview, the coach also said that he is hoping to bring JacquesKallis back to the team as a batting consultant.

It should be mentioned here that the South African cricket team will becoming to Pakistan after 2007. Their absence followed a terrorist attack onthe Sri Lanka team bus in 2009 in Lahore that killed six policemen and twocivilians.

“We’ve had our (security) guys go there and do a recce of the situation andthey have said it is safe,” Boucher told reporters before the team’sdeparture to Pakistan. “So from my side there are no issues, we have toget back there and start playing cricket.”

“It is tough but different to India and Sri Lanka, where it (the ball)turns. Pakistan is more conducive to fast bowling. Reverse swing was verybig, though regulations are tighter these days on how you can work on theball.”
