DUBAI – Manu Sawhney has been appointed as new chief executive officer ofthe International Cricket Council.
According to the announcement made by the ICC today, Manu Sawhney will joinhis office next month before formally taking over the reins from DavidRichardson in July following the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
Manu Sawhney is the former CEO of Singapore Sports Hub and ManagingDirector of ESPN Star Sports.
The appointment was ratified by the ICC Board following a global search andappointment process led by ICC Chairman Shashank Manohar and theNominations Committee.
