LAHORE: Pakistan's opening batsmen Imam ul Haq underwent surgery on fifth finger of his left hand on Saturday in
a local hospital in Dubai.
"The surgery went smoothly and the batsman is back to his hotel room and will fly back home on Tuesday from Dubai", said a spokesman of his PCB here.
Imam sustained injury on his hand while fielding on the fifth day of the first test against Australia which ended in a draw.
Imam has been ruled out of action from the remaining part of the ongoing Pak series against Australia due to the finger injury.
