Chinese Language & Culture Centre being established at MNSUA

MULTAN: The administration of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture (MNSUA) has decided to establish "Chinese Language and Culture Centre" to offer language courses to educated youth, in order to avail maximum opportunities from China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

This was stated by Dean of Agriculture and Environment Department Dr Shafqat Saeed while talking to APP. He informed that the varsity inked an agreement with International Institute of Business and Economic Qinhuangdao Hebei for establishment of the Chinese Language Centre. He added that the Chinese Institute would provide teacher and other necessary material for imparting and improving linguistic skills to Pakistani students. Similarly, the MNSUA would construct building by itself.

The Students of BSc would study Chinese language for one semester. Similarly, the Language courses would also be arranged for other intending students. Dr Shafqat Saeed further remarked that 10 students and two teachers would avail scholarship for China annually, wherein they would find more conducive environment to improve their Chinese language skills.

He hoped that the Chinese Language and Culture Centre at MNSUA would surely facilitate our students. It would also improve people to people contacts with the neighbourly country.
