Pakistan FM Qureshi leaves for important foreign policy tour, will hold key meetings with Russian and European leaders

ISLAMABAD - Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi left for Germany today to participate in Munich Conference being held to review security situation in Afghanistan.

Talking to PTV News before departure, Qureshi said he will present Pakistan's view point on afghan situation in the Munich Conference.

He said, world leaders attend Munich Conference to formulate coherent security plan for future.

He said Afghan President Ashraf Ghani will also deliver Afghanistan's stance on the issue.

The Foreign Minister said Pakitan-US ties entered an important phase and he will be holding meeting with us congressional delegation, visiting Germany.

He said, Pakistan's efforts for afghan reconciliation process are being appreciated across the world.

Qureshi will also hold meetings with Uzbek, German, Canadian and Russian Foreign Ministers.
