Gold prices in Pakistan break all previous records

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA) issued the gold prices data twice a day and turned the decreasing rate into an increase surprisingly on Tuesday night.

According to numbers previously provided by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of the yellow metal decreased by Rs850 per tola and Rs729 per 10 grams, ending a five-day enhancing streak.

later, the association issued new data which showed that the price of gold broke the historic threshold of Rs170,000 per tola for the first time in Pakistani history after rising by more than one percent in line with rising prices in the global market.

As per the new data provided by the association, the price of 24-karat gold unexpectedly raised by Rs2,000 per tola, and 10-gram gold increased by Rs1,714.

Along with breaking past records, the new price of 24-karat gold increased to Rs170,800 per tola and 10-gram gold to Rs144,719.

The price of 24-Karat and 10-gram silver remained stable by Rs1,970 and Rs1,688.95 respectively.
