ISLAMABAD: Pakistan netball team got off a flying start when they got two back-to-back victories on Wednesday in the Asian Netball Championship at Neighborhood Gymnasium Jayaputra, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to information received here, in the inaugural fixture, Pakistan defeated Singapore 72-55 goals in a thrilling contest and got four points.
They got four more points to reach at the top of points table when they trounced traditional rival India 70-41 goals in their second match of the day.
Muhammad Akhtar, Usman Bashir, Abid Ali, Mehboob Shah, Muhammad Khursheed, Naseeb Raza and Samad Masood showed outstanding performance during both the matches.
In their third match, Pakistan will take on Hong Kong on Thursday.
