KABUL: Afghan President
Ashraf Ghani has said Pakistan and
Afghanistan will have to join forces for the eradication of terrorism.
Pakistan will play a positive and key role for bringing peace in
Afghanistan, he said while talking to media in Kabul.
The Afghan President said the United states and
China have assured their cooperation for restoration of peace in
Afghanistan.
He hoped that peace talks will likely be started with Afghan Taliban in few weeks.
“We cannot wait for years. It is just a matter of weeks and months. We will accept those who want peace, but we will fight those who work for others. This is our clear message, Afghan President said to reporters.
He said that Pakistan assured him to join hands with hands with
Afghanistan and also assured it would take action against those who refuse to join intra-Afghan dialogue.
