Gilgit Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman has said the Government is determined to set up ten model schools in the region every year to impart quality education.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony of Begum Waqar-un Nisa Higher Secondary School in Kashrote area of Gilgit today (Saturday), he said two hundred eighty two middle schools have been established in Gilgit Baltistan during the last four years.
The Chief Minister announced to pay tuition fee of deserving students of Kashrote from his own pocket.
The Chief Minister also laid foundation stone of Shaheed Saif ur Rehman hospital in Gilgit today.
The project costing six hundred million rupees would be completed by March 2020.
