The joint investigation team (JIT), formed to inquire into the attack onPakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Wazirabad, Wednesdayrecorded the statements of three PTI leaders including a lady provincialminister.
It was learnt that the statements of Provincial Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid,Zubair Khan Niazi and Umar Farooq had been recorded by the JIT.
Zubair Niazi’s application at Wazirabad police station was also made partof the investigation.
The JIT will write a letter again to invite other PTI leaders so thatinvestigation into the said case could be completed as soon as possible andthe report could be sent to the government.
