Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to prepare a comprehensive strategyto further expand Ehsaas Program.
He was talking to Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation Sania Nishtar inIslamabad today. Country Director World Bank Najy Benhassine was alsopresent on the occasion.
The Prime Minister was informed that the World Bank has doubled itsassistance for Ehsaas Program which will help extend social protection tomore deserving people.
The Country Director World Bank declared the Ehsaas Program a flagshipprogram of social protection and a role model for other countries.

Najy Benhassine also appreciated the steps taken by the Prime Minister forenvironment protection. He said the Prime Minister announcement of shiftingto environment friendly renewable energy resources to produce electricityis a highly responsible initiative to save the region from the harmfuleffects of climate change.
