New developments reported over Pakistan Cricket team tour in New Zealand

QUEENSTOWN – Pakistan men’s national team will travel to Auckland onTuesday (tomorrow) for Twenty20 International (T20I) series against NewZealand – scheduled to begin from December 18.

Pakistan’s intra-squad match ended at Queenstown on Monday. Iftikhar Ahmedscored unbeaten 102 off 48. Abdullah Shafique and Hussain Talat registered38 and 24 runs respectively.

Faheem Ashraf picked up two wickets. Shadab Khan – who recently recoveredfrom injury – took part in batting and bowling practice. Haris Rauf isdetermined to display good performance against the Kiwis.

Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq – who have been ruled out of the T20I series dueto injury – returned to light physical training.
