ISLAMABAD – Snubbed batsman Umar Akmal makes a key demand from the Headcoach Misbah ul Huq
Umar Akmal is looking forward to getting yet another chance to make acomeback in international cricket. While talking to the media in Lahore,Akmal said that a cricketer’s career is full of ups and downs but he triesto not give up anytime. “I know I haven’t come upon expectations but ithappens with a cricketer. I try my best to perform,” he said.
Akmal asked the current chief selector-cum-head coach to give him yetanother chance as he is confident to mot miss it. “Being a cricketer, heknows how difficult it is for a player to perform on a comeback. I amreally looking forward to making an early comeback,” Akmal maintained.

To a query about comparing him with another controversial player AhmedShahzad, Akmal said that it is wrong to continuously bashing players.“People should back us as we also don’t want to be failed. Be it Ahmed orany other player, wants support from people,” he concluded.
