ISLAMABAD: The body of a senior officer of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Police,Tahir Dawar, who went missing in Islamabad, was handed over to theofficials of Pakistani Consulate in Jalalabad on Wednesday, sources said.
The officials of the Pakistani consulate in Afghanistan’s Jalalabad havereceived the body of the slain cop, Tahir Dawar.
“The body to be transported to Torkham border in a while”, said sourcesapprised of the development.
Yesterday, it was reported by ARY News, citing family sources, Tahir Dawar,the disappeared officer of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Police, had been killedin Afghanistan.
The Superintendent of Police (SP) Rural Peshawar, Tahir Khan Dawar, wentmissing in Islamabad on October 26.
