China eager to make joint ventures with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – Realizing Pakistan’s potential as fourth largest cottonproducer, the Chinese investors are eager to make joint ventures withPakistan for importing high quality fabric to China that would help improvebilateral trade and economic relations.

A Chinese delegation from China National Textile and Apparel Council led byCEO Textile Mills Management, Mr. Shahid Nazir Masood and CEO of ShanghaiChallenge Textile Mr. Robert, visited Punjab Board of Investment and Trade.

The objective of the visit was their keen interest in developing businessin Pakistan specifically in the textile sector for changing the economiclandscape of the country.
