RAWALPINDI – Indian troops have yet again resorted to ceasefire violationat the line of control.

Troops on Sunday opened fire on civilian population in the Chirikot Sector,according to a press release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

An 8-year-old boy, Khayam, got seriously injured after the Indian troopsopened fire from posts on the Line of Control (LoC).

According to the military’s media wing, the injured minor was evacuated toa hospital.

Pakistani troops effectively responded to the Indian post that opened fire,the ISPR said.
