Ukraine carried out an overnight drone and missile strike on a Russian airdefense system near Yevpatoriya in annexed Crimea, according to informationfrom a Ukrainian intelligence source provided to Reuters news agency. Theoperation, conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine and the navy,resulted in the destruction of the Russian air defense system.
Russia claimed to have intercepted 11 attack drones over Crimea during thesame night. It’s worth noting that Reuters could not independently confirmthese reports.
The Ukrainian source further explained that the drones incapacitated aRussian “Triumf” air defense system by targeting its radar and antenna.
