The American company Apple, which makes iPhones, has said about the iPhonemodel 12 that the electromagnetic radiation in the phone conforms to globalstandards precisely.
The company’s spokesperson made this statement following the sale ban inFrance due to violations of radiation emission and regulations based on acomplaint from a French regulator. According to reports from internationalnews agencies, after a complaint about dangerous levels of electromagneticradiation from the iPhone 12 handsets, the French regulator has instructedthe company to immediately address the issue found in the current handsetsbeing sold in the country.
In France, the Radio Frequency Control Authority, known as ANFR (Agencenationale des fréquences), has stated that research has revealed that theiPhone 12 emits electromagnetic waves exceeding the prescribed limit. Theregulator’s spokesperson clarified in their directives that they will sendagents to Apple stores and other distributors to verify whether Model 12 isstill being sold. They further stated that if the regulations are notcomplied with, all mobile phone sets currently on the market will beremoved.
It’s worth noting that ANFR had previously expressed its opinion that ithad ordered Apple to remove the iPhone 12 from the French market startingSeptember 12 because the model absorbs more electromagnetic radiation thanallowed.
