Hafiz Hamdullah, a member of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), sustainedinjuries in a blast that occurred in Balochistan’s Mastung district onThursday.
Mobile phone footage aired on television depicted a bloodied Hamdullahbeing assisted by two armed individuals while he spoke. JUI-F spokespersonAslam Ghauri, speaking to Geo News shortly after the blast, confirmedHamdullah’s injuries but assured that they were not critical. He mentionedthat Hamdullah, along with the others traveling with him, including thegunmen, sustained minor injuries and that there was no serious concern atthe moment.
Ghauri explained that they were en route from Quetta to Kalat when theincident took place after passing through Mastung. However, the nature ofthe blast, whether it was a suicide attack or a planted bomb, remainedunclear. Ghauri further stated that Hamdullah and the injured individualshad been transported to a hospital in Quetta.

According to Mastung Assistant Commissioner Ataullah Memon, a total of 11people had been injured in the incident and were subsequently transferredto Quetta for medical treatment.
