SRINAGAR – In Occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed inSopore and Zainageer areas of Baramulla district, today to protest againstthe killing of Hurriyet activist, Hakeem-ur-Rehman Sultani, and youth byIndian troops.

Call for the shutdown was given by the Joint Resistance Leadershipcomprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.

All shops, business establishments and petrol pumps are closed in Soporeand Zaingeer areas while transport is off the road.

The occupation authorities yesterday ordered the closure of all educationalinstitutions in Sopore sub-division today.
