LAHORE – The federal government employees will have four days off on Ashura1440 ADGovernment has declared September 20 and 21 as Ashura holidays, for the 9thand 10th of Muharram, however with Saturday and Sunday off, total of fourholidays will be available to government servants.
An official notice said that all offices, corporations and local councilsunder the government’s administration will remain closed on Thursday andFriday. However, Government employees will join their offices on Monday asSaturday and Sunday are already days off.
Strict security arrangement has been made for the Muharram processionsacross the country. All the four provincial government has requested toshut the cellular services to avoid any untoward situation.
