Despite IMF deal, Pakistani Rupee crashes further against US dollar

KARACHI – The dollar rate increased by Rs2.19 against the rupee in theinterbank market, reaching at Rs210.10 from Rs207.91.

In the open market, the dollar was sold at Rs211.50 after gaining Rs2.

Meanwhile, 100-index of Pakistan Stock Exchange gained 518 points andreached at 41,862 points.

On the other hand, oil edged up on Wednesday, a day after settling below$100 a barrel for the first time since April, and gains were limited by aUS supply report showing rising inventories and caution ahead of USinflation data.
