KP govt allocates Rs 36bln for promoting education in tribal districts

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has allocated thirty-six billion rupees on promotion of education in tribal districts during current financial year.

A spokesman of provincial government told our Peshawar correspondent that more than seven-hundred thousand scholarships will be awarded to students to lessen dropout ratio in the schools.

Similarly, five-hundred playing areas will be constructed in schools besides setting up four-hundred science and IT laboratories in these districts.

The spokesman said that vacant posts in schools in tribal districts will be filled at the earliest.
