WASHINGTON: The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo says Washington is hopeful to see “major disarmament” by North Korea by the end of 2020.
He made these comments during visit to South Korea, following unprecedented meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore.
Mike Pompeo is in Seol, where he is briefing South Korea’s government on the outcome of the summit.

He said there is still “a great deal of work to do” with North Korea adding that major disarmament we can achieve in the two and half years.
