LAHORE: A high level meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif here at today in Lahore to review the operation Zarb-e-Ahn against Chuto gang.
As per details, CM Punjab held meeting with senior police and interior ministry officials while Shahbaz Sharif was briefed by officials over operation Zarb-e-Ahn.
He expressed his anger over the failure of operation against Chuto gang and scolded officers for presenting a false report in this regard.
CM questioned that why the police force launched operation if department was aware of the shortage of weapons. He further said that elite force should have been deployed before launching operation against Chottu gang.
According to the latest reports, Police is facing a lot of difficulties in operation due to poor strategy as till now seven policemen have lost their lives while 24 were held hostage.
On the other hand, SSP Malir Rao Anwar offered help to Punjab Police in operation against chotu gang saying that he is ready to come to Rajanpur with his team if Punjab Police call him.
