WASHINGTON: Doctors of Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center invented Micro Chip which can move organs of a paralyzed person.
Doctors launched a successful experiment on a patient named Burkhart who was paralyzed from neck down in an accident in 2010.
The chip has to be planted in the brain of the patient and then it is connected with the paralyzed part of body through wires.
The computer chip reads his thoughts and conveys the message to the body part to perform according to the thoughts.
Dr. Ali Rezi said “Several years after a spinal cord injury his level of function has improved significantly so that he is able to have more use of his fingers and hands to do functional tasks.”
Sources claimed that further experiments will be made on two more patients and struggle will be made to develop wireless technology.
