ISLAMABAD – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said the PTIgovernment is serious for the creation of South Punjab province.
Addressing a news conference in Multan on Saturday, he said a bill to thiseffect will be presented before the parliament.
He said the opposition parties should demonstrate open heartedness andsupport the government in fulfilling the demand of the people of thisregion.

The Foreign Minister said it has been decided to make functional the SouthPunjab Secretariat by the first of July this year. One part of thesecretariat will be established in Multan and one in Bahawalpur.
