ISLAMABAD – Embassy of Pakistan, Ankara, organized an event in connectionwith Pakistan Online Visa System which was announced by Prime Minister ofPakistan Imran Khan on Thursday.The event was attended by Turkish dignitaries, tour operator and Pakistancommunity based in Ankara, said press release received here.Turkey was among the first five countries whose citizens will avail the newE-visa facility for visit to Pakistan.Speaking at the event, Ambassador of Pakistan Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazisaid this landmark initiative by the government of Pakistan would helpattract more tourists as well as foreign investments into Pakistan.

This initiative was the best tool to further enhance Pakistan’s soft power,he said.Former Chairman of Pakistan Turkey Friendship Group in Turkish Parliamentand current Deputy Chairman of Foreign Affairs of the AK Party BurhanKayaturk while lauding initiative said many Turks would now visit Pakistanand enjoy the natural beauty as well as the traditional hospitality of thebrotherly country.
