*LAHORE*: The National Accountability Bureau has summoned PrincipalSecretary to PM, Fawad Hasan Fawad in the Punjab Comapnies Scandal.

Fawad Hasan Fawad has been summoned to appear before the NAB tomorrow at 10am in relation to the NAB inquiry in the Punjab Comapnies corruptionscandal.

The investigation of Punjab companies’ scandal is currently underway andaccording to the latest development, the complete record of the companiesinvolved has been handed over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)for further processing.

The Joint Stock Companies registrar has handed overall record of thecompanies registered with Punjab government to NAB. It has also beenrevealed that 17 of these companies have been registered as non-profitorganisations.

The details for companies’ memorandum has also been provided to NAB. Allcompanies have been registered according to the Act of 2017, Section 42.

NAB officials are confident about the fairness of investigation into thismega-scandal.
