KABUL – One policeman was killed and three others were wounded on Wednesdaywhen a roadside bomb tore through their pick up vehicle in this capitalcity of Logar province.

The early morning blast ripped through the police vehicle in Kamakhel areaof Pul-i-Alam, said Saleh Mohammad, the governor’s spokesman.

He told Pajhwok Afghan News the wounded cops had been evacuated to theprovincial civil hospital.

Javed, a resident of the area, said the police vehicle was totallydestroyed in the blast.

No group has taken responsibility for the incident so far.
