Donald Trump responds to the news of paying porn star to stay silent

WASHINGTON – US President Donald Trump seems to be in severe troublenowadays facing severe criticism both at home and abroad.

After denying the vulgar remarks about Haiti and African countries, Trumphas now denied an affair with porn star amid claims she was paid $1,30,000 tostay silent.

The lawyer of US President Donald Trump has denied that the president hadan affair with an adult film star 12 years ago. However, the lawyer did notaddress a specific allegation that Trump paid the porn star a sum of$130,000 to keep her hushed and prevent her from talking about the allegedsexual encounter.

According to The Wall Street Journallink>report,long-time Trump Organization attorney Michael Cohen oversaw the payment toStephanie Clifford in October of 2016 in the final days of the 2016presidential election.Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney.

In a statement emailed to the Independentlink>,an attorney for Mr Cohen denounced the story as a “Complete and utter lie”.

“This is recycled old fake news that has no validity whatsoever andeveryone named, including Mr Cohen vehemently denies this. It is fake newslike this that has people questioning what is real and what is fake,”attorneyDavid Schwartz said to Independent in an email.

White House too wasn’t far behind when it came to rubbishing the report andblasted in a statement to The Guardianlink>.

Cohen did not address the payment claim in the statement to The Wall StreetJournal. Apart from that, he also denied the allegation that Trump andStephanie Clifford, who performs under the name Stormy Daniels, had asexual encounter in 2006, the year after Trump married Melania.

An attorney whom the WSJ said had represented Ms Clifford declined tocomment.

WSJ also published a comment purported to be from “Stormy Daniels”, a stagename used by Ms Clifford, denying sexual contact with Mr Trump.

In the final and turbulent days of the US presidential race, Ms Cliffordhad reportedly discussed disclosing an alleged affair with Donald Trumpwith TV show – Good Morning America.

A Trump campaign spokesperson denied that the two had a sexual encounter,which was described to the WSJ as consensual, and Clifford never appearedon the programme.
